Journal Launch

The latest issue of the journal is out! We’ll be placing copies around campus, so be sure to keep your eye out. You can also visit the EMLJ desk in PH and ask for a copy if you’d like.

We’ll be holding the launch party on September 20th at 7:00 pm in the Memorial Union Greek Room. We hope to see you there.

We’re very excited and proud to bring you this latest edition of Quivira and we hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed putting it together!

Don’t forget that you can start submitting your work now. Send in as much as you want, as much as you can. E-mail your submissions to quivira@emporia.edu. See our Submissions Guidelines page for more info on submitting.

See you at the launch party!

If your piece(s) was not accepted don’t lose heart! We got so many great submissions there was just no way we could publish them all. Keep writing, drawing, painting and expressing your self.

We’ll be creating two issues of the journal this year as we switch to a spring publication, and we need your submissions! Let me stress again, we need your submissions! Keep submitting! Submit as much as you want. You don’t have to limit yourself to one, two, or three. Send twelve if you’ve got them! As you may have noticed by the over-abundance of exclamation points we’re pretty excited about this upcoming issue and we want you to be too!
